When our founder, Farah Singh, was in the process of selling her own home, she instinctively felt the need to showcase every corner to its fullest potential. She wanted people to walk through and say, “Wow, this place is incredible,” just as she did when touring model homes built by developers.
This inspiration led her to stage her own home first, and when it sold, the buyer even purchased all the furniture!
Farah wanted to help others achieve the same kind of value and success through the design techniques she used in her own home. Thus, A Lady’s Touch, now known as ALT Interiors, was founded in 2016 while Farah was still working for Citytv as a meteorologist. As the business grew, Farah decided in 2019 to become a full-time business owner.
What began with a few pieces of furniture and accessories in her basement has now grown to over one million dollars in inventory, an in-house moving team, and designers helping thousands of homeowners each year stage to sell.
Due to the exceptional quality of ALT’s staging, clients frequently requested our services for their new homes as well. This demand led to the creation of our interior design firm, extending our expertise from staging to comprehensive interior design.
